French Onion Ramen Noodle Soup

This French Onion soup had its early start in our Granville Street Soup Deli. Most days we were sold out by 2pm and just called it a day!
There are three versions to cooking this amazing soup.
Reserve fried onions for final touches
If you are in a rush, simple add the bag to 8 cups boiling water, and enjoy when the noodles are ready. We like to save the crunchy fried onions and put them on after the soups cooked.
Use tongs to separate the noodles as they cook. Very little needs to be added to the soup.
If you have time, cook noodles until soft and edible. Pour soup and noodles into French Onion soup bowls. Cover soup with croutons or French baguettes slices. smother soup with Gruyere or Mozzarella cheese, adjust oven rack 6 inches from broiler. Broil until cheese is melted and bubbling around edges. Remove and added cruchy fried onions on top of each French Onion Soup! ~ENJOY!
Alternatively, if you have time, cut your baguette up into small pieces and broil on a pan in your oven. When toasted, add Gruyere or mozzarella cheese on bread and melt in broiler.
Cook noodles until soft and edible. Crack you egg of choice, chicken, quail, duck... into the hot soup. Begin ladeling into bowls and add your eggs on top. You your baguette to dip into your amazing soup! Enjoy!
ADD water if too thick
